The results may darken the longer you take to read the result. 7.0 and higher Mare is not ready and could take days to weeks longer before foaling 6.8 Mare is getting closer and foaling could happen any day. Advisable to test 2 x a day 6.4 Progressing and needs to be watched closely as milk quality changes quickly. 6.0 Foaling should occur within 12 hours. The more yellow the test strip, the closer to foaling the mare is. Please remember that foaling and foaling signs differ with each animal and each pregnancy. These are guidelines.
